Yes. Food safety is a core focus at SYSCON. We manufacture labels and flexible packaging that comply with food-contact regulations, including FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) and EU food-contact material standards. Our production facilities are certified under GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), BRC/IoP (Global Standard for Packaging Materials), and GHPs/HACCP. We use food-grade inks, adhesives, and substrates, and we conduct migration testing to ensure that our packaging materials are safe for direct and indirect food contact. Yes. Using our digital printing capabilities, we can produce labels with variable data such as sequential serial numbers, unique barcodes, QR codes, batch codes, expiry dates, and personalized content. Variable data printing is ideal for traceability, anti-counterfeiting, promotional campaigns, and regulatory compliance. For high-volume runs, we can also integrate inline variable data printing with our flexographic presses to combine the efficiency of conventional printing with the flexibility of digital personalization.

For best results, we recommend supplying artwork in the following formats:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) -- Preferred format for vector-based artwork.
  • PDF (press-quality) -- High-resolution PDF with fonts outlined and images embedded.
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd) -- For raster-based or photographic artwork, supplied at a minimum of 300 dpi at actual print size.

All artwork should be supplied in CMYK color mode. If Pantone spot colors are required, please specify the Pantone reference numbers. Our prepress team provides a thorough artwork check and will work with you to resolve any technical issues before production. We also offer design support if you need assistance creating or adapting your artwork for print.

Our maximum print width depends on the printing platform:

  • Flexographic presses: Up to approximately 430 mm (17 inches) print width for labels, and wider for flexible packaging applications.
  • Gravure presses: Up to approximately 1,100 mm (43 inches) for flexible packaging films.
  • Digital presses: Up to approximately 330 mm (13 inches) for short-run labels.

If your project requires specific dimensions, please share your requirements with our team and we will confirm the most suitable production setup. For oversized or non-standard formats, we can also explore custom solutions.
