Multiple printing platforms delivering superior quality, versatility, and efficiency for every label and packaging application.
Flexographic printing is the backbone of our label and packaging production. SYSCON operates both central impression (CI) and stack-type flexo presses, providing the flexibility to handle everything from narrow-web label production to wide-web flexible packaging runs. Our CI presses deliver exceptional register accuracy on extensible films, while stack presses offer rapid changeover for shorter label runs.
Our HD flexo capability uses surface-screened anilox rollers and high-resolution photopolymer plates to achieve print quality that rivals gravure -- with fine text reproduction down to 3-point type, smooth vignettes, and highlight detail that was previously impossible with conventional flexo technology. Print widths range from 250 mm to 1,300 mm, with repeat lengths up to 1,200 mm.
For long-run flexible packaging and applications demanding the highest photographic quality, SYSCON's rotogravure presses deliver unmatched consistency and image reproduction. Gravure's engraved cylinder technology produces continuous-tone images with exceptional depth, richness, and uniformity that remain consistent across runs of millions of impressions.
Our gravure presses are equipped with automatic register control, viscosity management, and electrostatic assist systems that maintain quality at production speeds exceeding 300 meters per minute. Gravure is the preferred process for premium food packaging, pet food bags, and high-volume flexible packaging where long-term consistency and vivid color reproduction are paramount.
SYSCON's digital printing platform enables short-run production, versioning, and variable data printing without the cost of plates or cylinders. Digital printing is ideal for limited editions, regional variants, promotional packaging, and serialized labels that require unique content on every impression.
Our digital presses produce resolution up to 1200 dpi with a wide color gamut that closely matches our conventional flexo and gravure output. Combined with inline finishing capabilities -- die-cutting, lamination, and varnishing -- digital jobs are delivered as finished labels and packaging, ready for application.
SYSCON operates multiple ink systems matched to specific applications: UV-curable inks for labels requiring instant cure and high scratch resistance, water-based inks for food packaging where low migration is critical, and solvent-based inks for gravure applications demanding deep color saturation.
Our presses accommodate a wide range of substrates including paper, coated and uncoated films (BOPP, PET, PE, PVC), metallic films, foil laminates, and specialty materials. Our prepress team selects the optimal ink and substrate combination for each application, balancing performance requirements, regulatory compliance, and cost efficiency.
